Vertical Parapet Drainage

Drains and pipe penetrations with parapet upstand and vertical outlet

When the slope of a roof surface is directed outward toward the parapet, parapet drainage systems with lateral outlet and pipe penetration through the parapet upstand with external downpipe are typically used.

In cases where drains or pipe penetrations are positioned at the parapet but the drain pipe should be routed vertically through the roof, LORO offers special parapet drains with upstand for the parapet but with vertical outlet. This way, the downpipe is arranged inside the building rather than outside.

Thanks to the special upstand as a mounting aid, the otherwise usual minimum distance to the parapet for vertical drains without upstand can be eliminated. Sealing is done with the practical clamping flange as a loose and fixed flange construction only on the roof level and not directly in the upstand.

Vertical Parapet DRAINLET and DRAINJET

As main and emergency drainage with gravity and siphonic flow

As a vertical alternative to the LORO-X RAINSTAR parapet drains, drainage is near the parapet but with a vertical outlet into the interior of the building, like the LORO-X DRAINLET flat roof drains.

Advantages

• Small wall distance to the parapet
• Vertical outlet into the building for internal downpipes
• Secure sealing with clamping flange
• Two-part design for warm roofs

Vertical Parapet Pipe Penetration DRAINLET

Without surface drainage

For this pipe penetration with parapet upstand and vertical outlet, the advantages of the proven LORO-X DRAINLET flat roof drains were combined with those of the LORO-X RAINSTAR parapet drains with upstand.

Advantages

• Small wall distance
• Vertical outlet into the building
• Secure sealing with clamping flange
• Two-part design for warm roofs

Vertical Parapet Pipe Penetration Series H

With surface drainage as direct drain

The pipe penetration Series H combines the advantages of the LORO-X Series H balcony direct drains with the secure sealing and upstand of the LORO-X DRAINLET and RAINSTAR drains.

This way, not only the pipe penetration of the downpipe from the upper floors is achieved, but also the additional drainage of the surface with the direct drain principle of Series H.

Advantages

• Pipe penetration with integrated drainage
• Small wall distance
• Vertical outlet into the building
• Secure sealing with clamping flange
• Two-part design for warm roofs

Vertical Parapet Series V-AK

As single drain, direct drain or pipe penetration

Series V-AK, with upturned adhesive flange for sealing with liquid plastics in wall areas.

Series V-AK, with upturned adhesive flange for sealing with liquid plastics in corner areas.

Series V-AK is available for cold roofs (one-part) and warm roofs (two-part).
