Bell

Drains with bell

At LORO, the term "bell" refers to the bell-shaped bottom of the Series I and Series IK for casting into concrete. The socket connection is optically concealed within the concrete slab.

The bell consists of an inner pipe (media-carrying) and an outer pipe forming an annular gap. Between both pipes, an annular gap is created into which the socket of the downpipe can be pushed from below after the drain has been cast into concrete.

Advantage: A separate formwork bell (see below) can thus be omitted.

Available series with bell:

• Series I
• Series IK

Formwork bell

for drains without bell and pipes

When drains without built-in bell are cast into concrete, the separately available LORO-X formwork bell in the appropriate nominal size can be used. This is removed after the concrete has been poured, so that the desired annular gap for pushing on the LORO-X socket is created around the cast-in drain pipe.

The LORO-X formwork bell is suitable for precast concrete elements manufactured in the factory, as well as for work with in-situ concrete on the construction site.
