LORO-X DRAINJET Rapid Drains Hood, Flat Design
LORO-X DRAINJET Rapid Drains, Hood Flat Design
- Primary drainage
- Emergency drainage
The flat design of the LORO-X DRAINJET hood is suitable for roof structures with paving slabs or similar structures where the standard hood cannot be used.
Due to the flat design, the following special features apply to primary drainage and emergency drainage with siphonic flow, which must be considered during planning:
Emergency drain with 35 mm weir height: Due to the flat hood, the weir height of the emergency drainage is limited, so that the 55 mm weir height usual for siphonic flow cannot be used, but instead the 35 mm weir height usual for gravity flow is applied.
Primary drain designed for 35 mm water level: Since the emergency drainage already activates at 35 mm, the primary drainage must be designed for the flow at 35 mm instead of the 55 mm usual for siphonic flow.
Advantages:
- Low hood height - Ideal for large terraces
- High flow rate at low water level
