LORO-X RAINSTAR DISTANT Siphonic Flow

With the LORO-X RAINSTAR Distant, LORO offers an innovative solution for siphonic drainage of flat roofs, where the outlet can be installed at a variable distance from the parapet. The outlet requires no upstand and allows flexible positioning of the lowest point of fall within the roof area. Sealing is carried out on just one horizontal sealing level, which significantly simplifies installation and reduces potential errors at the parapet edge.

Thanks to the patented, lowered drain pipe, a particularly high drainage capacity is achieved – ideal for larger roof areas. The siphonic flow ensures safe drainage with negative pressure in the pipe system. It is particularly noteworthy that the entire drainage system can be realised externally – a major advantage in terms of fire protection, ease of maintenance and construction time.

The RAINSTAR Distant system is available in nominal sizes DN 40, DN 50, DN 70 and DN 100. Both main and emergency outlets are suitable for bituminous and plastic roofing membranes. In addition, LORO offers matching sliding flanges for penetrating the vapour barrier.

Thanks to the measured performance verifications as LX data sheets, the complete siphonic drainage system can be independently planned and implemented by roofers, including for refurbishment or the retrofitting of an external emergency drainage system. LORO also offers solutions in a variant for gravity flow.
