LORO-XP Pressure pipe clip

The LORO-XP pressure pipe clip made of hot-dip galvanised steel extends the application range of LORO-X steel drainage pipes to the area of pressurised pipes.

The XP pressure pipe clip developed by LORO precisely encloses the socket, while the cutting claw with support ring "bites" into the inserted spigot end. This way, the push-in socket connection withstands a test pressure of 48 bar. After deducting the 4-fold safety factor common in shipbuilding, this results in the PN 12 certification for an operating pressure of 12 bar.

The advantage of a pressure-resistant LORO-XP pipe connection with push-in socket lies in the easy and fast installation. The pipes can simply be cut to length on site, so that no special adaptor pieces are required.

Certification

The testing of the LORO-XP pressure pipe clip PN 12 was carried out according to IACS UR P2.11 rules and was certified by Germanischer Lloyd and is available in DN 50 - DN 125.
