LORO-X balcony drains of series I are optimized for installation already at the concrete plant, so that the finished balcony slab is delivered to the construction site with the cast-in base body already in place. On site, only the strainer needs to be inserted and the downpipes mounted.

Two Drainage Levels

If an additional covering follows on site, such as tiles on tile supports, series I can be extended with a raised strainer receptacle to the upper drainage level. This provides high flexibility even with different balcony constructions.

Built-in Bell "Hides" the Socket Connection

Our series I includes drains with a built-in bell, so that the otherwise usual plastic formwork bell can be omitted. The socket is simply "hidden" between the inner and outer pipe of the drain within the concrete slab.

Vertical or Lateral Outlet

The base bodies of series I are available with vertical or lateral outlet pipes, so that the piping can run either within or below the concrete slab.

As Single and Direct Drain

Balcony drains of series I are available as single drains with stainless steel end strainer for upper balconies (vertical and lateral) or as direct drains with stainless steel ring strainer for direct pipe routing of the downpipe coming from above through lower balcony floors (vertical only).

Material Properties

• Fire protection for DN 50-70/R90 or DN 100/R60 is tested and certified according to AbP No. P-MPA-E-09-010
• Structural stability in the LORO-X system under mechanical and physical stress
• Resistance to contact corrosion (e.g. with copper pipes), pitting or stress corrosion cracking, and contact with reinforcing steel
• Hot-dip galvanized steel offers increased protection against chloride exposure compared to conventional stainless steel in 1.4301
• Very good compatibility with alkaline and carbonated concrete
• High diffusion resistance to water vapor and oxygen

For Renovation

For renovation of balconies with core drilling, we recommend Series IK with additional clamping collar for optimal fixation of the drain body within the core drilling.
