In downpipes and pipe systems

Cleaning openings allow the cleaning, maintenance and inspection of downpipes and underground drains, e.g. with a drain spiral or camera.

Common solutions are LORO-X rainwater standpipes with a round cleaning opening and LORO-X cleaning pipes with a round or rectangular cleaning opening

DIN 1986-100 sect. 6.6: Cleaning openings are used for the purpose of cleaning, maintenance, monitoring and testing.

DIN 1986-100 sect. 6.6 Types: Cleaning openings in pipelines can be designed as pipe end caps, cleaning caps, cleaning pipes with a round/oval opening, cleaning pipes with a rectangular opening, cleaning pipes as sliding sections or as open pipe penetrations in chambers. Cleaning pipes with a round opening may only be used for connection, down and collection pipes.

DIN 1986-100 sect. 6.6 Positions: As cleaning and pipe end caps in collection pipes, as cleaning pipes directly at the transition of the downpipe into a horizontal pipe, as cleaning pipes in downpipes or as pipe end caps at accessible points at the transition from a vertical pipe into a collection pipe.
