Length Compensation

LORO-X steel discharge pipes with long socket and LORO-X push-fit sockets with long socket provide a greater insertion depth for pipe installation between 2 fixed points as length compensation or tolerance compensation. LORO-X standard sealing elements can be used for LORO-X long sockets.

LORO-X long sockets do not replace a permanent expansion joint for longitudinal expansion, since lubricant and sealing element form a fixed connection after a short time.

Length compensation in balcony drainage

Balcony drainage units, consisting of a downpipe section and outlet, series BE, and balcony drainage branches feature long sockets for tolerance compensation of +/- 30 mm. With balcony drainage branches, the lateral outlet is also equipped with a long socket.

With direct outlets of series G there is no tolerance option. The effective installation length must be determined on site.

When installing short direct outlets, tolerances can be compensated if downpipes with long socket are used.
