A direct outlet is a balcony outlet within a multi-storey drainage downpipe that is able to receive the LORO-X downpipe from the floor above and additionally discharges the run-off of the area to be drained into the continuing LORO-X downpipe.

The pass-through and discharge take place via a ring strainer.

The direct outlets include the LORO balcony drainage series G, GF, H, HF, I, IK and J.

Balcony outlets that are connected individually to a downpipe via a branch line made of LORO-X steel drainage pipe are called single outlet.
