Series 62 LORO-X DRAINJET Parapet without penetration into the roof

Series 62: LORO-X DRAINJET Parapet drainage without penetration into the roof

LORO-X DRAINJET parapet drainage systems without roof penetration with siphonic flow are optimized according to pending and registered patents and utility models for space-saving installation without penetration into the thermal insulation or the concrete deck of the roof.

High Drainage Performance

Although no recess in the roof construction or thermal insulation is necessary, the patented system design enables high flow rates of up to 16 l/s through the suction effect of siphonic flow.

No Thermal Bridge

The principle of parapet external drainage is optimally implemented with this system as main drainage and also as emergency drainage, without rainwater being able to enter the building by even a millimeter.

Small Nominal Diameters

Depending on requirements, the system can be planned with DN 50 downpipe for particularly space-saving installation (also behind the facade) or with particularly high performance (DN 70 - DN 100).

Optimal for Modernization and Retrofitting

Because the system requires no penetration into the roof, it is also ideally suited for renovation of existing buildings with thin thermal insulation or for buildings with the so-called inverted roof principle, where the drain can rest directly on the roof structure without having to break through the concrete deck.

Depending on the roof waterproofing membrane, the connection is made with the flange type as adhesive flange (bitumen) or as clamping flange (45° bitumen, 90° plastic).

Advantages

  • no penetration into thermal insulation or concrete deck of the roof
  • up to 16 l/s at 55 mm as main drainage with siphonic flow
  • up to 14.5 l/s at 75 mm as emergency drainage with siphonic flow
  • standard-compliant connection to roof membrane and vapor barrier
  • no penetration of the roof membrane
  • small pipe cross-sections for installation on and behind the facade
  • complete system with reliable proof of system form and system performance
