LORO-X balcony drains of the Series G with support edge are distinguished by the factory-welded downpipe in original LORO-X quality and the possibility to use them as direct drain in a single downpipe stack across multiple storeys.

With the optional strainer holder with sieve holes or the closed extension piece, even higher balcony structures can be safely drained.

Including 250 or 3000 mm downpipe

Series G is available as a drain with welded LORO-X steel drainage pipe in two lengths: In standard length for connecting a subsequent LORO-X downpipe, or in extended version with factory-welded 3m downpipe, so that even a complete storey height can be bridged without a socket connection in the visible area:

• as drain with 250 mm downpipe
• as extended drain including 3000 mm downpipe

No recess in exposed concrete

With 3000 mm downpipe, concreting is usually done on site in the exposed concrete when, for aesthetic reasons, no filled recess around the downpipe and no socket connection should be visible. For multiple storeys following the direct drain principle, work proceeds from the lower to the upper storey.

As single and direct drain

The drains of Series G with support edge can be used as single drain or direct drain, depending on whether the drain is installed on the top balcony or on the balconies below. The basic body with specially developed retaining lugs accommodates either an end strainer, or a ring strainer with the downpipe coming from above:

• as single drain with closed end strainer made of stainless steel
• as direct drain with ring strainer made of stainless steel for pipe penetration

Massive quality

For maximum dimensional stability and durability, Series G is manufactured from solid steel drainage pipe with high-quality hot-dip galvanizing. The additional coating according to DIN EN ISO 2178 based on a 2K epoxy combination improves the behaviour during concreting with more aggressive types of concrete.
