Series 88 LORO-X RAINSTAR Distant
without upstand for variable distance to parapet and all waterproofing membranes
Parapet drainage with distance from parapet
LORO-X RAINSTAR-Distant parapet drainage without upstand enables the installation of the drain at a variable distance from the parapet, depending on the slope plan. This makes it possible to let the roof slope rise again towards the parapet and relocate the lowest point further towards the center of the roof.
The horizontal pipe can be laid within the thermal insulation, for example. However, it should be noted that too great a distance from the parapet can impair the drainage performance.
Lowered pipe
The patented lowered pipe with the patented 2-stage water acceleration in the drain can achieve increased drainage performance even with horizontal offset in the insulation.
Only one horizontal sealing level
Sealing is only done on the horizontal level with the universal clamping flange, suitable for bitumen and plastic waterproofing membranes.
For roofers
Roofers can dimension the RAINSTAR Distant parapet drainage completely themselves using the LX data sheet. Because all pipes run externally, penetrations, pipe fire stops and fire loads inside the building are eliminated – a decisive safety gain, especially for clinics, sensitive production facilities or high-quality residential projects. The slope insulation remains flatter because the low point moves further from the parapet and the slope insulation is laid from both sides; this saves insulation material and reduces the necessary parapet height. Maintenance work is also uncomplicated: revision branches with sealing plugs are accessible from outside, so that technical rooms or rental areas do not need to be entered.
Advantages of Series 88
