LORO-X Series 43 Model DUOFLUX DN 100 Fill-a-Vent Collector Box

The LORO-X main-emergency combination parapet drainage system with Fill-a-Vent pipe and emergency drainage overflow in the collector box offers the advantage that the water height on the roof surface is reduced, especially during operation of the emergency drainage, as the otherwise usual retention element in the drain is eliminated.

No retention element on the roof surface

The emergency drainage to the outside thus takes place outside the roof surface via the weir at the collector box and consequently only begins when the water retention limit H in the collector box is reached. This main-emergency combination system is suitable for areas up to approx. 150 m2 per system with reliable silent gravity flow. The adhesive flange with 45-degree upstand is suitable for direct installation in the edge of the parapet roof, so that installation on used surfaces is particularly space-saving.

High discharge rate at low water height

The LORO-patented double pipe drain with basin and lowered pipes channels the rainwater from the main and emergency drainage with high discharge capacity (10.1 l/s) at low water height (75 mm) and without a weir on the roof safely from the roof surface into the collector box. The weir height and the necessary retention of the emergency drainage is relocated from the roof to the collector box.

Overload-free main drainage

To safely prevent overloading of the downpipe of the main drainage with gravity flow, the Fill-a-Vent pipe is located in the drain opening of the collector box, which prevents overloading of the gravity downpipe and thus the underground pipe despite the high water level in the collector box. Its task is to limit the water discharge of the main drainage to the downpipe to a maximum gravity flow discharge (4.5 l/s) and to ventilate the flow in the downpipe from the inside.
