Square Rainwater Downpipe and Standpipe

LORO-X square rainwater standpipes and downpipes made of hot-dip galvanized steel blend visually appealing into facades with square or rectangular patterns.

With suitable fittings for the transition from round to square pipe, square downpipes can be connected to all parapet drains with free-flow drainage. Square downpipes made of zinc sheet usually also fit into the square socket, but with some zinc sheet manufacturers, attention must be paid to the dimensional accuracy of the radii of the square pipe.

Unlike our round steel drainage pipes, square pipes are laid without sealing elements, so square downpipes are not backflow-proof. We therefore recommend using square pipes only in front of the facade or in an outward-open facade slot.

The round outlet pipe at the bottom of the square standpipe corresponds to standard LORO-X dimensions, so all connection pieces of the respective nominal size can be used for connection to the ground pipe.
