LORO-X RAINSTAR DISTANT Gravity Flow

With the LORO-X RAINSTAR Distant, LORO offers an innovative gravity flow solution for draining flat roofs, where the drain can be installed at a variable distance from the parapet. The drain requires no upstand and allows flexible positioning of the gradient low point within the roof area. The waterproofing is carried out on just one horizontal sealing level, which significantly simplifies installation and reduces sources of error at the parapet edge.

Thanks to the patented, lowered drain pipe, a particularly high drainage capacity is achieved – ideal for larger roof areas. Gravity flow enables safe drainage without pressure build-up in the piping system. It is particularly noteworthy that the entire drainage solution can be realised externally – a major advantage in terms of fire protection, ease of maintenance and construction time.

The RAINSTAR Distant system is available in nominal sizes DN 50, DN 70 and DN 100. Both main and emergency drains are suitable for bituminous and synthetic roofing membranes. In addition, LORO offers matching sliding flanges for vapour barrier penetration.

Thanks to the measured performance data as LX data sheets, the complete drainage can be planned and implemented independently by roofers, including for refurbishment or retrofitting of an external emergency drainage system. LORO also offers solutions in a variant for siphonic flow.
