LORO-X Standpipes with Outlet Bend (Downspout)
LORO-X standpipes with welded outlet bend are suitable for downpipes without underground pipe connection with outlet into the open (downspout), without having to mount and fasten a separate bend to the downpipe. A later "falling off" of the outlet bend due to the shooting flow from above is excluded. Any support constructions for the separate bend are eliminated.
The regular application is emergency drainage into the open. But also - as is common in Scandinavian countries - when the main drainage is into the open because, for example, no underground pipe is available.
If required, the attached outlet bend can be extended with additional LORO-X fittings and pipes.
Smaller nominal sizes from DN 50 are ideally suited for draining canopies, balconies, shelters and small areas. Larger nominal sizes up to DN 150 are particularly suitable for large areas and the "Scandinavian construction method".
According to DIN EN 12056-3 7.5, no additional cleaning opening is required for free outlet onto open surfaces.
