This is a parapet drainage system with direct installation of the parapet drain into the parapet edge, providing both main and emergency drainage for a parapet roof.

In addition to the well-known parapet drainage systems designed for this purpose, which feature a low-level pipe, this new drain has a pipe for emergency drainage that is installed together with the basin flat below the roof drainage level.

Since this drain only minimally reduces the thermal insulation beneath it, it ensures a high level of thermal protection, for example in energy-efficient houses and roof terraces with living spaces below.

Since this drain penetrates only 55 mm into the thermal insulation of the roof surface, it is ideally suited for applications requiring enhanced thermal protection.
