LORO-X Steel Discharge Pipes
The pipe system for building and rainwater drainage with gravity and siphonic flow
The Sum of Many Positive Properties!
LORO-X steel discharge pipes DN 32 - DN 300 according to DIN EN 1123, hot-dip galvanized with additional internal coating have proven themselves for more than 60 years in drainage systems for buildings and properties for wastewater and rainwater. The essential feature is the LORO-X two-stage socket with special sealing elements for easy pipe assembly. The hot-dip galvanizing and the additional internal coating on all pipes and fittings provide optimal DUPLEX corrosion protection.
The decisive material and installation advantages and the reliability of the LORO-X push-fit socket connection, produced hundreds of millions of times, prompt builders, planners and processors to use LORO-X steel discharge pipes for the drainage of residential buildings, hotels, hospitals, schools, universities, municipal buildings, industrial buildings, parking garages, in bridge construction and shipbuilding.
In combination with LORO-X safety clamps, LORO-X steel discharge pipes are also used with increasing success as pressure pipes, e.g. in industrial applications as pressure lines (e.g. cooling water suction lines, compressed air) or as extraction lines (e.g. for dusts and chips).
With the newly developed LORO-XP pressure pipe clamp, LORO-X steel discharge pipes can also be used for vacuum operation (e.g. vacuum toilet systems, vacuum cleaning systems).
A versatile range of fittings solves every installation case. The sum of many positive properties!

Thick-Walled Precision Steel Pipe
Dimensionally Stable
Compared to thin-walled stainless steel or zinc sheet pipes, hot-dip galvanized LORO-X steel discharge pipes offer significantly higher dimensional stability. This has a positive effect on transport, processing and operation. Deformations of thin-walled pipe systems can, in addition to the visual impairment, also cause reductions in drainage performance, as the flow can change due to indented pipe cross-sections.
Break-Resistant
Due to thick wall thicknesses, not only the LORO-X rainwater standpipe is particularly resistant to vandalism and mechanical stress from cars, trucks or forklifts. The complete product range of pipes, branches, bends and special fittings is characterized by high break resistance and thus ensures the permanently safe operation of the LORO-X system.
Vandalism-Proof
Strong mechanical influences do not lead to the breaking of the pipes and consequently not to water leakage. Use in utilized or trafficked areas is easily possible. They thus offer increased protection against mechanical influences, so that impairment of drainage performance through vandalism or denting is virtually excluded.
Low Noise
Solid steel discharge pipes offer significantly higher sound absorption over a larger frequency range than conventional plastic pipes due to the mode density. For particularly high sound insulation we also offer Silent composite pipes.
Architecture and Weather
Optimal for interior and exterior drainage
Architecture
The appearance is often a decisive criterion in the choice of material for visible pipe systems. Hot-dip galvanized LORO-X steel discharge pipes develop a natural patina over time, which allows them to blend discreetly into the aesthetics of the architecture.
Weather Resistance
When draining with an external pipe system - as with gutter and parapet drainage - the external pipes are exposed daily to direct weather and UV radiation. LORO-X steel discharge pipes are particularly suitable for outdoor use due to their high weather resistance.
Fast Installation and Minimal Space Requirements
LORO-X STEEL DISCHARGE PIPES are among the fastest to install. Time studies for the calculation handbook for sanitary technology by the SHK Niedersachsen trade association prove this. The effort required for fastenings and fixed-point brackets is lower than with other materials. The LORO-X push-fit socket enables tolerance compensation during installation. The practical and sensibly designed pipe range (250 mm to 6000 mm length) reduces pipe cutting to a minimum. Pipes with sockets on both ends also allow installation without waste. LORO-X STEEL DISCHARGE PIPES require minimal recesses. Their small outer diameters, bends with tight radii and prefabricated special fittings enable space-saving pipe routing.
