LORO-X Parapet drainage

for the outside flat roof drainage

What is parapet drainage for flat roofs?

Flat roof drainage that is completely on the outside!

Parapet means "roof edge upstand as a wall-like structure on the roof edge of a building together with the roof edge closure instead of a gutter".

Parapet drainage is a completely external drainage for flat roofs - similar to gutter drainage. The drainage system is installed with a parapet drain near the parapet upstand, from which the continuing pipe system is led horizontally through the parapet off the roof.

Parapet drainage with emergency overflow

LORO-X parapet drainage systems as a complete system with downpipe for main drainage and emergency drainage offer planners and installers reliable proof of performance in the form of the LX-data sheet with a defined system configuration and reliable system performance in the form of the measured discharge curve. This applies to parapet drainage systems with siphonic flow and with gravity flow.

LORO-X parapet drainage systems with siphonic flow are the innovative alternative to internal roof drainage systems when the building design does not provide for internal piping systems for roof drainage. With the pressure-resistant LORO-X steel discharge pipe, all buildings can be drained with siphonic flow via the parapet just as safely as is known from gravity drainage.

Advantages of parapet drainage

  • External flat roof drainage
  • No penetrations into the building
  • No pipework inside the building
  • No safety or fire protection problem
  • Full use of the interior without risks
  • Fewer downpipes and drains thanks to high-performance siphonic flow
  • Low installation costs thanks to fast installation with the LORO-X push-fit socket system
  • Safety through LX-data sheets with measured discharge curve and CAD drawing
