The LORO-X DRAINJET Mini for siphonic drainage is characterised by its space-saving dimensions (145 mm flange diameter) and is therefore suitable for box gutters, carports and small roof areas as well as for the main drainage and emergency drainage of internal or "cornice-mounted" box gutters.

Main drainage and emergency drainage for box gutters

When building or renovating box gutters, both are often required simultaneously: high-performance main drainage into the ground pipe in accordance with current rainfall intensities and safe, high-performance emergency drainage to the open.

With the DRAINJET Mini emergency drainage, unwanted overflow of the box gutter during heavy rainfall is prevented.

Double performance at half the diameter

The high drainage capacity of up to 9 litres per second is achieved through the high flow velocity of water in the pressure-resistant LORO-X steel drainage pipe. Compared to conventionally dimensioned downpipes (4.5 l/s at DN 100), this corresponds to double the performance at half the pipe diameter.

Measured performance verification

The reliable system performance verification in the form of the LX data sheet consists of the graphical representation of the system configuration (CAD drawing) and the system performance measured with this test system (discharge curve).

LORO recommends installation in industrially manufactured or site-fabricated metal gutters from a width of 150 mm or 300 mm, depending on the gutter dimensioning. Since drainage performance varies between narrow and wide gutters, LORO provides at least two LX data sheets (for 150 mm width and 300 mm width) for each drain.

With the downpipe made of backflow-proof LORO-X steel drainage pipe in DN 50, installation is also permitted inside buildings or behind the facade.

Drainage of internal gutters

During heavy rainfall, water cannot overflow to the outside – unlike with hung gutters – but must be safely guided through the building to the outside via a backflow-proof LORO-X pipe system.

LORO-X steel drainage pipe made of break-proof, hot-dip galvanised steel is pressure-resistant and backflow-proof thanks to the two-chamber push-fit socket with sealing element. Installation in front of the facade, within the facade or inside the building is possible.

Clamping flange without soldering or welding

The practical clamping flange with compression seal enables secure sealing in metal box gutters without soldering or welding.
