LORO-X Installation Advantages
Time is Money
LORO-X steel drainage pipes are among the fastest to install. Time studies carried out for the Calculation Manual for Sanitary Engineering of the SHK trade association of Lower Saxony provide the proof. The effort required for fixings and fixed-point brackets is lower than with other materials. LORO-X steel drainage pipes need only the smallest of recesses. Thanks to their small outer diameters, bends with tight radii and prefabricated special fittings, a space-saving pipe routing is achieved.
The practical and sensibly designed pipe range reduces the cutting of pipework to a minimum thanks to well-graded pipe lengths from 250 to 6000 mm. But even after cutting to length, the pressure-tight and backflow-safe push-fit socket connection of pipes and fittings is retained, thanks to the outstanding properties of LORO-X steel drainage pipes.
Straight cut
Compared with the hard surface of stainless steel, hot-dip galvanised steel drainage pipe has a "softer" surface. This reduces the slipping of pipe cutters on the pipe surface and enables a straight cut.
Dimensionally stable spigot end
Due to their greater wall thickness compared with thin-walled stainless steel pipe, LORO-X steel drainage pipes remain considerably more dimensionally stable when cut to length. This prevents "oval" or out-of-round spigot ends that can occur with thin-walled pipes under the pressure of the pipe cutter.
Tapered spigot end
When using pipe cutters, the cut spigot end is evenly and slightly tapered. This makes insertion into the socket easier and reduces the risk of damaging the sealing element.
Pipes with 2 sockets
Pipes with sockets at both ends allow installation without pipe offcuts, as cutting produces two pipes, each with one socket, from both ends.
