The video shows step by step how a pipe joint is released again once the lubricant has cured after about a day and the joint has therefore become very tight.

All you need is a screwdriver and a can of spray oil. Place the screwdriver directly against the gasket and lift it slightly so that a narrow gap forms between the gasket and the pipe. Spray a little oil into it and repeat this several times all the way round the pipe. Then take hold of the pipe, turn it back and forth and pull it out.

Dispose of the gasket afterwards, as it may have been damaged by the screwdriver.
