About LORO
"Entrepreneurial activity is known to consist of finding ideas that promise market success, winning people and resources for their realisation, and mastering the market competition of the company designed for 'eternal' existence."
(Karl Heinz Vahlbrauk, founder of LOROWERK: "Unternehmer neu programmiert - Evolution im Betrieb", Verlag Wissenschaft und Politik Berend von Nottbeck, Cologne, 1973, p.23)
Traditionally, and now in the 4th generation, LORO focuses on the holistic view of the company, its employees, and its products embedded in a challenging market environment.
Continuous research and development are the foundation for new technologies and products. At the LOROWERK site in Bad Gandersheim (foundation stone laid in 1963), research, development, production, sales and service work hand in hand (proprietary).
Considering the system form of the complete (roof) drainage system is essential for a guaranteed and reliable system performance. As a developer and producer of drains, pipes and fittings, LORO is able to provide customers with safe and reliable complete systems with measured and calculated performance verification.
Numerous European patents and active participation in various standardisation committees underline LORO's competence, as does the TÜV-certified quality management system of the LOROWERK.
Through reliability, quality and technological know-how at the highest level, the "family company LORO" is the trusted partner for architects, planners, contractors and all construction partners in all questions relating to building drainage.
With the first building authority approval for a hot-dip galvanised steel drain pipe with push-fit socket connection by the Lower Saxony Minister of Finance, industrial production of piping with the LORO-X push-fit socket principle began in 1954. This initially took place at Loges-Rohr OHG E. + K. Vahlbrauk in Alfeld an der Leine, and later at today's LOROWERK K.H. Vahlbrauk GmbH & Co.KG in Bad Gandersheim.
During this time, the company has become synonymous with hot-dip galvanised steel drain pipes and has established itself as a technology leader in roof and balcony drainage systems through numerous new patents.
