Window sill drainage behind the facade

With "invisible" LORO-X steel drain pipes

In ventilated rainscreen facades, weather protection is divided into cladding, ventilation space and insulation. Window sills drain rainwater from windows and facades in a controlled manner. The external connections are designed so that no rainwater can penetrate the construction.

Concealed gutters and drains

For aesthetic reasons, window sills with overhang and drip edge are often not desired, so internal drainage behind the facade is used. For internal drainage of window openings, concealed gutters, for example made of folded steel, can be used.

Larger gutters are optimally drained with LORO-X DRAINLET-Mini drains for main drainage and emergency drainage. At the same time, blockages from leaves and objects are prevented.

Concealed pipe system

The drainage of the gutters is carried out via LORO-X steel drain pipes running in the ventilation space, which achieve pressure-resistant and damage-free water drainage and meet fire protection requirements (A1 non-combustible).

Cleaning the pressure-resistant pipe system

Cleaning as pressure water cleaning and the accessibility of the downpipes is also easily possible with LORO-X cleaning pipes. Regular cleaning should be carried out, for example, as part of maintenance. In frost-prone areas, a heating cable or appropriate thermal insulation of the pipes can be planned at the planner's discretion to prevent icing.
