LORO-X Filling and ventilation pipes

LORO-X filling and ventilation lines have been used for more than 40 years for filling and venting heating oil tanks, underground tanks, basement-welded tanks and plastic battery tanks. During this period, the LORO-X pipe system made of hot-dip galvanised steel with the proven LORO-X push-fit socket connection has proven itself through its material and installation advantages and the reliability of the push-fit socket connection, which has been manufactured millions of times.

No welding, just push-fit. LORO-X filling line, DN 50, with safety clamp, No. 806 X, is deemed to consist entirely of steel. For many tank manufacturers, LORO-X filling and ventilation lines are part of the tank. Matching connecting pieces are available for other tank manufacturers.

According to the German DIBt approval Z-38.4-194, sections 2.2.1 (3) and 2.2.2 (3), LORO-X pipes and fittings can be used with or without interior coating. According to this approval, mixed installation with components from other manufacturers is not permitted.

The installation of filling lines for oil tanks is subject to the qualification of the installing company; the national or local requirements applicable at the construction site are decisive.

Note: The approval mentioned is a German building authority approval. For construction projects abroad, it must be checked whether it is recognised by the client or the competent authority in the respective country and which requirements apply there.

Wood pellets for pellet heating are delivered by tanker trucks and blown directly into the storage room. That calls for filling and ventilation lines with a coupling and sealing cap led through the exterior wall of the house. If the pellet storage room is not directly adjacent to an exterior wall, additional lines must be used.
