LORO-X Filling and Ventilation Lines for Emergency Power Generators and CHP

The non-combustible pipe system for decentralised power supply based on oil or diesel

Emergency power generators and combined heat and power plants (CHP) that run on oil or diesel are classified as conventional heating oil tanks according to AwSV - Federal Plant Ordinance.

For the pipelines to fill the oil tank, leading suppliers refer to LORO-X filling and ventilation lines made of hot-dip galvanized steel.

Advantages

  • Fast installation: No welding, just push-fit!
  • Pressure-resistant up to 10 bar with safety clamp
  • Impact-resistant and dimensionally stable
  • Non-combustible (A1)
  • Comprehensive range of fittings for all installation situations
  • For all types of heating oil tanks
  • Corrosion protected by hot-dip galvanizing inside and outside

Comprehensive Range

LORO filling and ventilation lines are installed as a system with many available pipes and fittings, so material changes within the pipeline are not necessary. For the end of the pipeline, we offer corresponding transitions/threads.

Approval and Scope of Application

LORO-X filling and ventilation lines made of hot-dip galvanized steel are approved under the general building approval No. Z-38.4-194 from the German Institute for Building Technology. The subject of this general building approval is the use of filling and ventilation lines for non-pressure operated heating oil tanks for storing heating oil according to DIN 51603-1.

In Germany, this general building approval means that LORO-X filling and ventilation lines do not require a water-law suitability determination or type approval under § 63 of the German Water Resources Act (WHG) of 31 July 2009.

Note: This information refers to German law. For construction projects abroad, please verify whether the approval is recognised by the client or the relevant authority in the respective country, and which water-law requirements apply there.
