Die Modelle mit Becken und tiefergelegtem Rohr bieten eine sehr hohe Abflussleistung mit Freispielströmung bereits bei geringer Wasserhöhe auf dem Dach.Zusätzlich zu der ersten Beschleunigung des Wassers in das Sammelbecken, wird die Strömung ein zweites Mal in das tiefergelegte Rohr beschleunigt.Durch die hohe Abflussleistung eignen sich die Modelle mit Becken und tiefgelegtem Rohr insbesondere für größere Dachflächen, die mit Freispiegelströmung entwässert werden sollen. Zum Beispiel bei Mehrfamilienhäusern, im Gewerbebau bei Bürogebäuden oder auch bei industriellen Bauten.
